A Lomi-Lomi massage session usually takes 2-2.5 hours.
It is a holy rite and acts from head to foot through the power of the touch. 
During the massage the Lomi-Lomi practitioner moves round the massage 
table with hula steps (similar to Tai-chi) and applies an intensive breathing 
technique which is a very active way to move energy and will encourage the 
recipient to immerse deeply into the rite. 

It is the first and foremost duty of the practitioner to tune in with the client completely, because during the time of complete relaxation the recipient is highly sensitised. But not everybody is able to relax thoroughly already at the first session. Sometimes the client simply has to be patient with himself or herself and needs several Lomi-Lomi sessions.

Lomi-Lomi is difficult to express in words. You simply have to try it out for yourself, live it through, feel it and gather your own experiences. Because Lomi-Lomi is something different for different people.
